🍌World Chimpanzee Day is celebrated on July 14th, but we are celebrating a little early! 🍌

Join us to celebrate chimpanzees, our closest living relatives, at this World Chimp Day Event. This educational tour event is an exclusive opportunity to visit our chimpanzee area, as it is not on our regular tour route. You’ll have the chance to meet our 39 chimpanzee residents and hear from some of our chimpanzee caregivers throughout the tour as they teach you about our chimpanzee residents. We’ll start the event with a “chimp talk” hosted by one of our chimpanzee caregivers, and you’ll end your visit by browsing and shopping for one-of-a-kind, limited chimp art and chimp-themed tees. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for a chance to win an overnight stay in our CGA cabin, a chimpanzee painting experience, or a chimpanzee art piece.

Two tour slots are available on Friday, July 12th: 10 AM –  11:30 AM and 11 AM – 12:30 PM. Both times are limited to the first 30 people to register. $50 per person. All participants must be 15 or older. All participants must be able to walk and stand for about a mile.

Only chimpanzees will be viewed on this tour. Join us for our International Orangutan Day celebration tour on August 19th to see orangutans!
