Annual Supporter Program
Become an Annual Supporter Today
Your annual gift provides nutritious food, expert veterinary care, daily enrichment, and a permanent sanctuary home for the orangutans and chimpanzees in our care.
Supporters who give $75 or more during the calendar year also receive invitations to special sanctuary events, including Springtime with the Apes and Holidays with the Apes. These special occasions offer a unique opportunity to connect with fellow supporters and see firsthand the incredible work happening at the sanctuary.
You'll also receive a subscription to our weekly Ape-dates and monthly eNewsletter, keeping you closely connected to the sanctuary’s latest news, stories, and updates on our orangutan and chimpanzee residents. It's a chance to stay engaged and see the direct impact of your generosity.
Your Annual Supporter Giving Level is determined by your total qualifying charitable contributions received during the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Qualifying contributions include direct and recurring donations, gifts of stock, and grants from donor-advised funds. Merchandise, event tickets, auction purchases, and raffle tickets do not count toward your giving level. Your level determines the number of guests included with your invitations and the additional supporter opportunities available to you.
Great Ape Hero
For those who choose to join at the Great Ape Hero Level ($350), you’ll also have the opportunity to schedule a private tour of the sanctuary. This exclusive experience allows you to get up close and personal with our remarkable apes, guided by our knowledgeable staff and volunteers. All private tours are scheduled during our tour season, which runs from September through May, and are offered on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays based on availability. Tours last approximately two hours. Private tours must be used within the active supporter year. For more details, reach out to our Donor Relations office by calling 863-767-8903 or emailing us here.
